Satisfy your senses art show

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation will be hosting their third annual “Satisfy Your Senses” art show and sale this weekend at Latte Da coffee house in downtown Vancouver. The fundraiser will be opening on Friday with an artist reception and wine tasting with wine from Koi Pond Cellars. Larry K. McCullough will be providing musical entertainment for guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. Attendees can meet the artists and even watch them work to create new pieces of art throughout the weekend.

Five artists will showcase their work at this fundraiser: Phylles Flury, a glass artist; Kathleen Hovis, who creates handcrafted jewelry; and oil and acrylic artists Jeanette French, Bonnie Junell and Edi Olson. 10% of the art sales will be given to the Library Foundation, as will 100% of the proceeds from all of the raffles.

The fundraiser is free to attend, and will be open Friday from 5-8 p.m. for the reception and wine tasting; the wine tasting will be exclusive to Friday. The show and sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Latte Da coffee house and wine bar is located at 205 E 39th Street, in downtown Vancouver; they can also be contacted at (360) 448-7651.
